"My name is Debbie. I was born on the Island of Trinidad and Tobago. I am of black descent. I live with my 3 children – two girls and one boy. I have never served in the armed forces, but my eldest daughter served in the Navy from 2016-2019. I once transitioned from being homeless to permanent housing -2003-2004. I work as a case manager with Housing Plus. Being a case manager has taught me, or given meaning, to the word compassion. I am humble in my role of serving our most vulnerable tenants. And I come to work each day looking forward to meeting the needs of our tenants, and putting a smile on someone’s face.

My strengths are being able to speak positivity into individuals and motivating them to do better for themselves."
